After doing CrossFit for a couple of years (and a little bit more!) I have constantly struggled with getting double unders. Needless to say, I jumped when I saw the jump rope class and boy I’m glad I did!
Trying to master a skill in the middle of a workout has in hindsight been a terrible strategy. Actually taking a couple of hours with a focus on the skill and having the Darin and Winter right there to help and critic you at the moment, sent me from not being able to string two DUB’s together to doing 20 in a row!!
I can not recommend enough to anyone trying to get a specific skill, to try this approach. Thanks to these guys I can handstand walk, do ring muscle-ups/ bar muscle-ups and now double under.
